Zero week 2:50 Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006 Cello. I'm back at college and it's been pretty fun these past few days. My mommer helped me move in on Saturday and I just kind of sat around for some of the day because I was quite tired. I totally didn't even pack until a few hours before I left. Sad, yes? I forgot some essentials...such as body wash and toothpaste. I had to go into Westwood to buy toothpaste and get some stolen hotel soaps from my sister's friend. I slept over at Michelle and Shawna's the first night here since Dorothy didn't move in yet. The first night I went with Shawna, Michelle and Michelle's family to eat dinner at Universal City Walk and it was kind of funny because we went there to eat at Gladstone's or something like that and it turns out that it closed down and is now a Bubba Gumps, which Michelle's dad happens to hate and he was the one who had really, really, really wanted to go to Gladstone's in the first place. hahaha. Luckily he got free parking, so it wasn't as angerful for him. The place we went to was pretty cool, aside from the singles trying to meet people at the bar. We got free s'mores. YEAH! :] I feel really tired when I'm here, but I get excited when I go to visit Michelle, Shawna, Katlyn and Helen in Rieber Terrace because they and their floor are such super people! I feel like I've met more people there than I have on my own floor, even though I went around and knocked on everyone's door to introduce myself. This is sort of saddening. I like how everyone says hi to each other the first week, though, but it'll probably die down soon. haha. I like zero week because we don't really have much class but once zero week's over, I won't be as happy. The room is pretty cool but it's sort of small, especially compared to Rieber Terrace because their room's are super huge, it feels like. So yesterday night there was this badminton "meeting" but it turns out it was an open rec night and I didn't bring ANY exercise clothing so I had to play in a henley, which made it super hot(!!!) and jeans and sneakers. Bah. I'll be prepared for next time! :P I'll have my brand spanking new racket too. And maybe my arm won't be in as much pain as it is now. That'd be nice. Also, my ankle still hurts. Eep.
