Being back is super. Things have changed! The plant near my fireplace has gotten taller and my brother's dog lives here now. Also, there is a bunch of stuff all over my sister's floor because I unloaded my luggage in there, since, due to my being messy, I could not unload in here. Teehee :D Yeah, things aren't really that different, aside from the doggy being here. I love Patches! :] Anywho, my site went down once more. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll have a stable host again. I might just go and pay for space, but I'm a poor college student, so I dunno. I'm also having an ordeal with money and college this year because interest rates on loans are freaking up the butt and I wasn't smart enough for super scholarships, unlike a lot of UCLA kids because they are actually smart and didn't get in for being weird. So where am I going to come up with the extra 15 thou? Oh, I know! Become a sperm donor! Though, that is physically impossible for me, since I am not a guy.. I saw this ad on Facebook that said you can make 1500 dollars just for a few minutes of your time and you can make up to 4000 dollars in just a few weeks. Do you know how long it would take me to hit 4000 dollars at my crappy retail job?? Taxes included and all?? Approximately 120 days!! But hours have been cut short again, so probably even longer. I'll probably only work that much in a year, if not less. Yargh. I was considering just taking out the loans on my own without telling my mom so I'll be stuck paying millions of dollars for the rest of my life, but I dunno. Maybe there's another way. We shall see. Meep.

Enough about that. I'm going to talk about some random things about China that I forgot about. There was this one time when I saw these two guys using bamboo as a bong..or a pipe..or something. They were smoking something out of it and I thought it was funny. Another time I was at KFC because that's what the cool kids do over there. Seriously, it's bigger than McDonalds and KFC has a playpen thing inside for the kiddies. Well, my cousins' in-law was shopping with us and her daughter and other relative that was a little girl came along because they really like my cousins. So the in-law's husband totally made her relative cry because he's a big fat jerk and I don't really like him and to comfort her, the in-law was like, "No, don't cry. KFC won't welcome you if you cry." hahaha. It's funnier when you hear it in Chinese, I guess, but I just pictured the Colonel shooing her out the door. Something that's cool about KFC is that for your birthday (because a lot of kids like to celebrate it there, so they play the Happy Birthday song in Chinese over and over and over and over again) they give you this paper hat thing. It's like the burger king crown..BUT MUCH BETTER. One of them is just this thing that has pictures of hot air balloons..but oh man, the other one is great. It's shaped like a pope hat! And they write your name on it and stuff. It's like being the pope for your birthday! I really wanted one but I think my head is too big and also, it was not my birthday, so I'd be a big fat liar and the pope might take the hat away. It's probably just for the kids anyways. Sigh.

So I totally ruined my cousins' and aunt's lives by telling them what to write on our customs form. Instead of declaring that we spent money in China, I told them to put "0" because I thought that's what my mom had said, so when we turned in the form, we got the suspicious eye and were sent to a special line, where this lady interrogated us and opened up one of the ten suitcases, only to find that it was filled with fricken herbs, which are considered food items, which we also said we did not have. The lady gave us another chance to fill in how much money we spent so I just put down some random number, but man, it sucked. She sent us to another line to get the food items checked. We had to put all our suitcases through an X-ray machine and for some reason, mine were pretty much the only ones that weren't searched, even though the bottoms of the suitcases were lined with dried foods. Bahaha. So I think seven of ten suitcases were opened up and they spent much time poking, smelling, and prodding the items. We got them all back but were the dead last people to come out. My mom was beginning to wonder if we even came with the people on the airplane because it took so long. Finally we got out and I felt so bad but my mom made me feel better because she had actually told my aunt what to put on the form, but my aunt failed to tell us about it. That still doesn't give back the extra hour or two we spent in there. Cry.

I'd have to say that my favorite item that I got in China was my miniature Mahjong set. One tile is like one-fourth the size of a regular tile and they're just so small and cute. I played with them yesterday when Pei Pei and I were teaching Wendy to play, but Pei Pei plays differently so it was kind of confusing to teach Wenderita. We went to dinner later on with Susan, Nataly and later Tamara. The waiter was soooooo nice. He was like giving us extra fries and stuff and he didn't shoo us out even though they were closed and then he was telling us this story about UCI because he used to go there. We couldn't remember his name, but we were nice and left a generous tip, even though we're Asian. haha. So yeah, it was Susan's last dinner here. :*[ She left this morning at 5am! Ah! She probably got there by the time I woke up, which I wouldn't even have if I hadn't gotten a phonecall. I was like dead asleep! Jetlag! Yargh! But I will probably see her this weekend so it's all good. :D

PS Yay for the US having soft toiletpaper!
