Day seven of the getting betterness 23:46 Friday, Jul. 28, 2006 Well I take back some of the stuff I said. Not the being white and fat part because that hasn't changed so much. haha. They think I'm like a giant or something. I do miss home but I'm starting to have more fun here and I'm still awkward but I'm trying to talk more. Everyone who has met my mom recognizes me because supposedly I look just like her. I guess we have the same face shape and puffy hair. haha. My head looks even larger now since the haircut. I haven't decided if I like it yet but I don't hate it. I've been playing badminton with my aunt that I came with and my uncle whose house we're staying at. He's super crazy and we're not so he doesn't have to put much effort when playing with us. haha. My aunt is really good at hitting the birdy back but she can't move around that much because her knee hurts. I wonder if that'll be me in 30 or so years because I had really bad knees when I was little too. That's why my knees always crack. haha. It's kind of gross and sometimes embarrassing. My mom's older sister came to visit us. I really like her because she doesn't make me feel bad about my Chinese and she likes to laugh a lot. She's always making jokes and stuff and I don't feel as awkward talking to her. hehe. Her children, on the other hand, are hard to talk to. We used to be closer but now I don't know what to say to them. They don't seem to want to do anything and her daughter kind of stares at me sometimes but doesn't say anything unless I talk first. : I hope things get better. I've been going to some fancy restaurants with like private rooms with bathrooms and stuff. This one I went to yesterday had three or more people waiting on us that would take away empty bowls and dirty plates constantly and refill our tea as soon as they see us put down our cups. I was kind of annoyed, though, because they chose to come in and put food down to the right of me every time so if I were in the middle of eating something I'd have to put it down and wait, but whatever..at least they weren't smelly. haha. Whenever I have nothing to do I just sit around and playing on the cellphone my dad gave me. Thank goodness I have it because reading makes me drowsy. I beat this one game on there and I was sad that I did because I thought I had nothing else to do but then I formed this addiction to the slot machine game on my phone. Now I see why people get addicted to gambling. I started at 100 and now I'm up to like 3000. haha. :D I also play Sudoku on my MP3 player. If guests are over I sit awkwardly downstairs and watch TV with them and ask them questions occasionally. haha. Well, I should sleep now. I'm quite tired.
