Spanking NEW
01:17 Saturday, Jan. 07, 2006

YEAH. NEW LOOK! I haven't decided if this will be a version yet. :P I keep adding things as I go along. For some odd reason, Maxthon refuses to display the banner I made. I think it doesn't like it, but all the other browsers are okay with it. And by all, I mean IE and Mozilla. So for you Maxthon users, which I doubt there are too many of, you do not get to see the lovely picture I slaved over for several hours. I was totally on a roll early early this morning with the creating of this "new look", but my daddo caught me around 4am and made me go to bed. But I like how my little ol' page looks now. I will be sprucing it up some more because I do not do much these days..

BUT..tonight (yesterday now, I suppose) was a Freundinnen din! Well, what's left of us......which is pretty much all of us besides Ashley. It just feels very incomplete when one is missing. We went to El Torito for dinner. Who knew Mexican food was so spicy? I think we all did but proceeded to believe that this restaurant would not include jalepenos in their food for some reason. After we ate our fill (large portions! :P'''), Amy opened her gifteroos because she had missed the Freundinnen party and we also got our presents from her. I LOVE mine, by the way :D Moulin Rouge! Excellente! Ewan McGregor is such a hottie in that movie. I heart him. After deener, we were going to go watch a movie at Laemmle's in Pasadena, but the next showing of Brokeback Mountain was 10:15, so we just went to Old Town. Susan freaked out about Victoria's Secret, so we had to go there before meeting up with the others. I don't know how long we were in there, but it must've been around an hour? Then we were about to meet Tammy, Amy and Wendy at Urban but decided to stop at Starbucks so Nat could get a peppermint mocha frap and I strayed away towards the books in Barnes and Noble. We were looking at this book about the meaning of names. I have full bars! hahah. There was this little bar graph thing for charisma, power, love/friendship, and success. Personally, I do not think I have much luck in any of those categories, but okay, Book! I guess I WILL. :D The other three joined us in Barnes and we found this book of quizzes so we sat down and blocked an aisle to take quizzes on our pathetic (besides Wendy's) love lives. I went straight for the books on organizing your home before we began. According to the quiz, "What Type of Guy Is Perfect for You?" my perfect guy is "the fun-loving guy". It was a battle between him and "the sensitive guy" but sensitive guys can whine like women, so "fun-loving guy" kicked his face off. Only I should be doing the complaining. ;P But whatever, I've already decided that I'm going to shave my head and become a monk, so sorry, "fun-loving guy".. :D
SO we stayed there until Barnes was closing and we had to leave and then we parted ways. When I got into the car and was looking for money to pay for parking, I realized I forgot to hand out letters once again, so I gave Susan and Nat theirs and I put Wendy's in her giftbag, but I still had Amy's and she might be leaving today, so I was like..agh..what to do? After a bit, we saw Tammy's car drive up next to us. I pulled out the letter and started signaling to Amy that I had her letter. We opened our windows and I pretended to hand it to her but we were really far apart. We kept hitting red lights so we just yelled stuff and I attempted to hand it over but the light turned green. On the third light, I reached out and Wendy received. haha. Success! The light turned green and the car behind Tamara was madddd. hahaha. They honked like crazy. Some people have no patience. Gorsh. That was pretty much it for our adventure home.

Memoirs of a Geisha has encouraged me to wait for the guy I really love, so Ewan McGregor, if you're reading this, when you decide to tell me that you love me too, I would like it if you bought me a white gold ring with a big honking shiny stone and some chocolate for having made me wait so long. If anyone believed me about the monk thing, I'm sorry to disappoint you. I know you wanted me to travel to the Shaolin temple and learn to play soccer like Stephen Chow.

[edit]
I figured out the problem with Maxthon. Apparently they refuse to display any graphics that have the word "banner" in the name. Craxors, mang.
